Cuphea Totally Tempted, ‘Totally Tempted™’ PPAF, is a great new plant that proves to be drought and heat tolerant. Totally Tempted is screaming bright crimson, and has an excellent branching and mounding habit. Being a filler, it Intermingles well with other plants to fill in the middle ground of a combination. The genus Cuphea is going to soon be a household word in Florida as new hybrids emerge with heat and drought tolerance as well as the ability to perform all summer. Attracts hummingbirds. This plant can be a perennial in zones 9-11. In zones 3-8 it is an annual only. Sun, sun, and more sun, a spring item in most areas of the South but will keep blooming in frost free areas as well, likely all through the winter. Deadheading not necessary for continuous bloom but can be used to tidy plants. Use in hanging baskets, beds, borders, and combinations.
